Erzan Çatmakaş was born in 1951 in the new neighborhood of Ankara.

He completed the Otakcılar primary school and Pertivniyal high school. He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 1977.

He is a member of the Pertevniyal High School Adult Association and Dynamic Dentistry Association.

He joined Dentacell in 2019 by closing his clinic, where he has been working as a freelance dentist since 1979. He has participated in many international and national congresses, seminars, and training programs. He continues his studies especially in the fields of dental prosthetics and aesthetic dentistry.
